Palace University

The Palace Group University is the training and education system for all Palace employees at all levels in the organization. Performance improvement, learning new skills and developing employees in an ongoing program is the key to ensuring the best care and service to our residents and their families.

Palace employees are required to attend three days of orientation in the Palace Training and Education Center. The first day of orientation gives the employee full knowledge of the history of The Palace and its owners, and also introduces them to the Palace Mission Statement and Palace Principles. These standards of excellence are taught in a seven hour presentation and reinforced through various classes throughout the year to maintain a culture of service that exceeds the expectations of our customers.

The 2nd and 3rd days of new employee orientation are classes that are mandated by the state and also by the Palace to meet educational requirements and Florida Statutes. In addition, over 60 classes are offered to front line staff throughout the year, while more than 100 topics of interest are offered through the Palace Group University Leadership Academy for managers and supervisors.

The Palace Group University encourages growth and development in all employees and supports a training system that focuses on the specific needs of the customers we serve, while catering to the special skills and talents of individual employees.
