The Palace Benefits Program has been designed to attract, retain, and reward good, conscientious hourly employees providing outstanding services, and excellent, ambitious managers who are top performers.
COMPENSATION PROGRAMS
The Palace offers competitive compensation programs, often exceeding industry standards. The programs include Salary (or Wage) and usually also a Bonus Program based on objective, obtainable & measurable criteria.
PTO (PAID TIME OFF)
Full-Time Hourly employees are eligible for up to 29 Days Off (almost 6 weeks) after the first year of employment, and up to 34 Days Off (almost 7 weeks) after 5 years. Days Off are awarded partly as “days-off with pay” and partly in Cash. Management Salaried employees begin accruing PTO days from their date of hire and are eligible to use accrued time after their first 90 days of employment. Salaried employees earn up to 23 days of PTO per year during their first five years of employment, and 28 PTO days after 5 years.
PERFORMENCE EVALUATIONS
One-on-one evaluations are conducted at end of probation period (90 days), and at anniversary. Raises are awarded to hourly employees in "good standing" and to management staff yearly.
HEALTH INSURANCE
Palace hourly employees are eligible for health insurance after 90 days of employment.
Management level employees are eligible the first of the month following date of hire.
